Natalie Walker Whitlock -- a.k.a. "Dot-Com Mom" -- is an author, columnist and the owner of Casaflora Communications, a content service specializing in business and technology issues. Natalie's new book, A Parent's Guide to the Internet (2nd edition), will be published September 2003.
As "Dot-Com Mom" Natalie writers, speaks, and consults with parents and high-tech companies on the new realities of the digital family. Clients have included Intel, IBM, and Disney Publishing. Natalie has written over 400 articles for numerous print and online publications, including Woman's Day, Parents, American Baby, FamilyFun, PCWorld, iVillage, CBS MarketWatch, AOL Financial Channel, Office.com, developerWorks, Intraware, BabyCenter.com, Family.com, the Tribune Media Syndicate, and The Arizona Republic.
In addition to her writing, Natalie enjoys playing the piano, hiking, traveling, gardening, and surfing (the 'Net, that is). Natalie, her husband and their 7 children -- Jeffrey (15), Daniel (12), Thomas (10), Madelyn (8), Abigail (5), and twins Robert & William (1) -- live on a one-acre farm in Chandler, Arizona.
