"_____The straight line______________is godless and immoral______."-Friedensreich Hundertwasser. This quotation is from my favorite magazine, "Adbusters" Generation F*CK-The Tyranny of 21st century porn. This magazine is my favorite for a number of reasons, the least of which is the quotation I chose to share here. I am the creator of an Ezine on Facebook, the ezine is called Faces: A Grassroot

Background Information

I am a 52 year old woman living in Bishop, California who is facing total hip replacement surgery soon.  July 29th is the surgical date, I can't wait to have this operation but must wait for a few more weeks. As you can see, the surgery is on my mind, though I try not to write too much about it.

I live here in Bishop in the home I bought 12 years ago with my spouse, Anthony, and our 7 animals.  We love them all so very much.

I write mostly on a blog I began on Word Press, but also on my Facebook magazine's page, that is called "Faces: A Grassroots Publication".

I also enjoy the flexibility of a hotmail account and reply to many letters I find in my inbox.

I write almost 10 hours a day because I love to and I will continue to do so until I can write no more.

I live to write and write to live, it seems to me.

I would like to be paid, but am not a paid writer yet.

Offer away!

I thank you for allowing me to write here, and look forward to watching this site.

Accomplishments

I drank my last alcoholic drink on June 24th, 2008, and smoked my last cigarette 35 days ago.
I have never been happier in my life.
I also did not think it possible to write as much as I do, using my blog, www.lorlie6.wordpress.com to write in.

Additional Information

My new magazine is certainly a first. Faces is an ezine committed to freedoms. Freedom of speech, of assembly and of the press are some of the rights we discuss there on the magazine's page. I never created anything in my life and the response is terrific, growing every day.

Travels with Lorlie
Officially a blog, I am using this site for different purposes. I am currently using "Travels with Lorlie" as the place to work on a character sketch in Perry's Eyes and another blog written today. I continue to expand her personality there. I love this girl, this young woman. She is named Louisa Marie. Please visit my website for further information on this young woman among other things.

Faces: A Grassroots Publication
Faces is an "Ezine" dedicated to freedom in every sense of the word. Deno Brandon and I started the project only a few weeks ago.

The Complete Stories of Flannery O'Connor
ISBN-13:978-0-374-51536-2 Flannery O'Connor writes of things southern which appeals to me. I received my BA in Sociology from Birmingham, Alabama in 1982, and I remained in Birmingham for years afterward, thus southern writing fascinates me. This collection is crucial reading to my development as an author. William Faulkner is another southern writer who captures my attention.
