His play 'Prod' will appear on The Horror Writers Network in February 2004. The author, originally from England, now lives in Gilbert, AZ.

MAJOR INFLUENCES: Richard says "David Lynch, Dennis Potter, Jane Austen, Ken Kesey, John Updike, Ayn Rand and Tom Wolfe, are the ones that first come to mind... That's not to say I model myself specifically on any of those writers, it's to say I model myself on all of them. Simply put, my major influences would be a list of everything I've ever seen or read that leaves you with the knowledge you've discovered something exceptional." In The Lonely Fen (Publish America) A drama that looks at life inside a group home for the mentally ill. This fictional work was inspired by Richard's experiences while working as a behavioral health technician in a number of group homes. The Snowbirds A comedy/drama set in an over 55s Retirement Park. (available Summer 2003)
