My essays had been published in Newsweek, The New York Times Magazine, The New York Post, The New York Daily News, The Huffington Post, New Jersey Monthly, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and I thought it was time to put it all together in a book.
"The 40-Year-Old Version" is a collection of hysterical, hopeful, and heartwrenching stories about life and other sudden phenomena from the perspective of a divorced dad. I feel fathers don't get enough credit, especially after a divorce, but I've learned how to reconnect with my kids in a more genuine way, and -- through many of the essays -- encourage other dads to do the same
