Digna Gonzalez was born from a rape of her mother when she was 16 in a small village in Central America. After suffering from rejection of her father and stepfather, she grew up in the midst of phisical, mental and sexual abuse in her young life. But as a little girl, Digna had big dreams of becoming a writer. She started to write poems at the age of five. Through a series of disappointing events, that caused her to attempt suicide four times, she was saved miraculously each time.
She came to the United States with her two small children, and pregnant from her third child. She continued to struggle until she met someone and her life was turned around for ever. After a fail first marriage, she married again amd together with her new husband, they became a team and have ministered to hundreds of men and women in churches and conferences in the USA and abroad. Digna published her first book of poems in 1999 and in 2003 her first CD, “Inspiraciones” (Inspirations), Together with her husband, started, “Inspitraciones.net,” a website to inspire and motivate others to dream big and never give up. Digna have appeared in radio and television and have traveled to California, Texas, Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. She has ministered inner healing in family retreats and other events.
Another dream came to fruition when Digna published her first novel, The Shadow of the Scorned (visit theshadowofthescorned.com). This book is her life story that will give man and women hope they deserve. There is no impossible situations that God can not fix.
