Alexis aka Karen Syed lives Texas where she is currently trying to get "overachieving" included as an Olympic sport.

Background Information

Alexis Hart has been a member of RWA for nearly nine years, serving on numerous BOD's for the chapter's she has belonged to. She has been inspired by the likes of Caroline Bourne, Jill Barnett, and Jennifer Blake, but mostly by her grandfather who told her she could do anything or everything and then helped her try most of them.

Accomplishments

Currently Ms. Hart is the 2nd Vice President of the Hearts Through History RWA chapter. She received the FWARA award of Excellence in Leadership in 1996 and recently her title Cursed Comes Christmas (co written with two other authors) was chosen as a Romantic Times Holiday Pick. As Karen she was a 2000 Publishers Weekly Bookseller of the year nominee.

Additional Information

Child of Hope, the first book ever written by Alexis Hart was recently released by Echelon Press. She currently has five books in print with several more pending publication.
