I have always enjoyed reading. I like westerns, mysteries, and who-done-its. I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in English. I teach at a community college in Montana. I love words. I love to read and write. I am preparing to begin teaching literature within the next year or so.
I finally took a stab at writing recently and completed my first novel, Murder in the West Bottoms, which is the story of a high profile Kansas City attorney who loses his job due to alcoholism. He becomes a private investigator and takes on a case that almost costs him his family and his life.
You can also read an excerpt from my newest effort, My Western, which is its working title. If you visit my site, please leave me a comment under "Contact Joe."

Murder in the West Bottoms
Strong language, violence, rape, and murder. Takes place in Kansas City. High profile lawyer-turned-private investigator takes a case to find a missing prostitute, which he does, but in doing so, he almost loses his life and family.
Frank and Charlie
This is my second effort. It is not completed, but I have high hopes for this novel. I don't have an excerpt on the web site yet, but hope to in the near future. This is a psychotic thriller.
My Western
This is my third effort and my first attempt a writing a western. I have an excerpt of chapter one on my web site.
