I started out writing science fiction and fantasy with Marion Zimmer Bradley being my editor. My novelette "Ladyknight" appeared in SPELLS OF WONDER edited by Marion and published by DAW. My stories appeared in her anthologies and her magazine. A science fiction story of mine appeared in the January 2009 edition of BEYOND CENTAURI magazine.
Then a friend suggested I consider writing romance in 2007. I started reading pararnormal romance and then writing it and never turned back. My contemporary paranormal romance novella WHEN LOVE SURVIVES was published by Tease Publishing LLC where I have a great editor and is out with All Romance Ebooks. My new vampire novel published by Tease Publishing LLC is THE STORMY LOVE LIFE OF LAURA CORDELAIS, is also available at All Romance Ebooks.
A VAMPIRE FOR CHRISTMAS is the first in the Vampires in Manhattan series has been released and is at http://www.allromanceebooks.com/product-avampireforchristmas-387184-139.html.
I have a bachelor's degree in Theater and a master's in Education. I'm a professional member of SFWA and a member of RWA. I've been married for 30 years to the same guy who indulges my need for books and we've raised two daughters together.
My influences have been varied, so I'll just list the authors I adore: Edgar Allan Poe, Lewis Carol, J.M. Barrie, Paul Twitchell, Ray Bradbury, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Ursula LeGuin, Diana Wynn Jones, Lynsay Sands, Hannah Howell, a.c. Mason, Stella and Audra Price, Bianca D'Arc, and Jessica Andersen.
I enjoy studying ancient cultures and mythologies. However, I'm always true to the first story I remember: Peter Pan. How do you get to Neverland? Second star to the right, and straight on till morning.
