Ms. Lind-Kyle is a therapist with a broad range of interests. She has taught in the academic world, practiced as a management consultant in the business community and has had her own private therapy practice. Her research and interest in the mind/brain field led her to write a book called "Heal Your Mind, Rewire Your Brain," available at bookstores nationwide.

Background Information

Yes you can teach an old brain new tricks!

New research shows that the brain is amazingly adaptable.  In fact, it constantly rewires itself in response to events in our lives.

By learning to consciously access each of the four brainwave frequencies -- and achieving a state called brain synchrony -- we can free ourselves from frantic mental chatter and the self-destructive patterns that keep us from leading productive, successful, creative lives.

“Heal Your Mind, Rewire Your Brain is a powerful owner’s manual for your brain and mind, complete with a  “Mental Tool Chest” to help free us from the stress and suffering of habitual negative emotional patterning.

These written and audio CD mental training practices provide nothing short of a scientific and practical roadmap to peace, happiness and mind/body freedom.

Author Patt Lind-Kyle takes us by the hand on a fascinating tour of the brain’s architecture and physiology.

She inspires us and shows us what is possible by the regular practice of mental training  and meditation.

Her empowering message is that we actually do have the ability to rewire our brains for greater health and wellbeing.”

Cultivating leadership competency for executives and senior managers is one of the critical challenges of organizations today. The capacity to establish leadership is a developed skill that demands dedication, understanding and practice. There is no "special" type of person that makes a leader. However, learning to lead effectively is a challenge and is different than managing people or functions. Growing leadership capacity demands a rigorous and intense understanding of oneself and the development and practice of fundamental leadership "powers". People generally know, when they need to take their next step in leadership development. This realization occurs when a person experiences the "gap" between the positional power he or she holds in the organization and the limitation of his or her personal power to influence people and guide the organization successfully. Having the position of "boss" doesn't necessarily mean that one can guide and inspire, focus the activity, understand the patterns and dynamics of the organization and initiate creativity and enthusiasm that can move ten people or ten thousand people toward effective and efficient results. Often, individuals don't know how to develop that personal leadership power within themselves that needs to match the positional power with which they have been entrusted.
