I earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in English/Creative Writing from Georgia State University where  I subsequently taught English, business writing, and  ESL classes for fourteen years.  My short stories have been published  in numerous university and regional literary publications and I am  a former Redbook Fiction finalist. (Do you remember when women's magazines published fiction?)  

     Most recently, HOUSES won the Good Read novel competition sponsored by A Woman’s Write. 
 

I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia, with my husband and two dogs who tolerate, even dignify, my current obsession--to finally write the novels that have been languishing in my head.
