In addition, Melvia Miller has received numerous honors and awards, including scholarships, fellowships, and being named: "Young Professional Woman of the Year"--by NANBPW, Inc.---and being named to "Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges." She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Public Service Sorority.
The author holds numerous degrees & honors---and is a graduate of Ball State University and the University of Michigan. In addition, she is also a Certified Herbalist and holds a doctorate in Wholistic Education. Her expertise lies in writing and developing training materials, educational methodology, and in publishing. She is the founder of a Cultural Diversity Museum on-line, called: THE TRUE HISTORY MUSEUM.
