Don't say the old lady screamed. Bring her on and let her scream. Thank you, Mark Twain!

Background Information

I was born in Philadelphia but raised in Seattle.  I received my B.A. in Literature from the College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.    I'd say Jane Austen is my biggest influence.  Simple, sweet, satisfying.  Does it get any better?

Birth Place
Philadelphia, PA USA

Finalist in the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers’ Colorado Gold Writing Contest in both 2007 and 2008

Honorable Mention in the Denver Film Society’s Short Film Screenplay Competition in both 2004 and 2005.

First Place in a short fiction contest sponsored by NuCity Newspaper in Albuquerque in 1993

Best Screenplay in the Sherril C. Corwin – Metropolitan Theatres Writing Competition in 1989

Additional Information

My first novel, Tell-All, is being published by Avalon Books this April. In Tell-All, New York City writer Kat Callahan is just finishing an unauthorized biography on Hollywood's Golden Couple, Alex and Victoria Janssen, when she meets a cowboy from Colorado who, unbeknownst to her, is actually Alex Janssen's brother, Luke, dead-set on stopping the book by any means necessary--even if it means using love as a weapon.
