Erika is a survivor of domestic violence and currently volunteers in a DV shelter on a weekly basis. Additionally, Erika trains new volunteers in the crisis intervention workshops for the shelter as well as ongoing dating violence workshops. She is in the process of completing her soon-to-be bestseller, "But He Was So Nice!" In her coaching business, Erika has developed an intensive group coaching workshop designed to guide participants through the vision and goal planning process.
Erika holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Community Counseling. Erika is trained in life and business coaching through the Coach Training Academy of North America. In her more than ten years of experience with business and organizational development, Erika has incorporated a non-profit organization offering employability skills training, mentoring, and personal coaching. Erika consults human resources departments with placement as well as individual and team development. She teaches leadership and team building sessions, consults personally with department leaders to identify individual personality styles, and recommends staffing adjustments that will benefit the organization and the individuals.
