Writer-musician "sans frontieres" - without borders, summarises my artistic approach. For example, in my first novel, "Labyrinth in the Snow" the influences in evidence are multilayered, ranging from the restrained French style through to the fantasy genre, embroidered in Yogic Buddhist philosophy.

Background

My formative influences can be hubbed around three nuclei. First, my university years as an Arts student exposed me to a great deal of literature and humanities subjects (especially History) which have whetted my appetite to write. Second, my deep love of writing and love of performing music was a natural extension interfacing with my literary persuits - music like literature enhances the imagination. Third, the influences of Yogic and Buddhist philosophy created a significant metamorphisis in my life and the way I view my place in the Universe.

Work in progress:
1. The assasination of Paola Pellegrinni - Futuristic detective thriller.
2. Crimson Blood and Diamond Tears- Sci-fi genre started a few years ago with some plot ideas similar to the recent movie 'AVATAR'. Extract used in a recent study by JCU student of Psychology.
3. Scrap book ideas only - A series of quirky short stories paying tribute to Roald Dhal.
4. With an upgrade of my recording studio I want to bring in the twin mediums of music and literature in a project as yet to be decided.
