What's does the government really do to positively affect those of us that they govern? Do the governing authorities truly have their constituents best interest at the forefront of their agenda? Politics and government is somewhat of a necessary evil. Government is needed to maintain order and provide services to those in which they govern. However, I believe it's the politics that get in the way of those that embark upon this endeavor of governing. There are truly good men and women that serve in this public arena, this daunting task of working for the people.
This book, The Government Is A Pimp, is a wake up call to the people that are being governed. Supposedly, the government is for the people, by the people. Or is it? That is perhaps what it was designed to be and truly supposed to be, but we have strayed extremely far from this mantra.
