I have a natural gift for writing. Although I have no formal training, I consider my passion for poetry the great equalizer.

I wake up every day determined to be good to someone. For me that is an over achievement.

In the midst of chaos and madness When the sun hides behind gray clouds I smile Knowing sooner than later it will shine again A world away From the pressures of life I stay The voice within Always there whispering Keeping me in perfect Peace I see the fear and tears In the wells of eyes Struggling to compromise Another unpleasant surprise Wondering when if ever All the good will come together To create a pleasant place Where struggle will cease Peace Decisions to be made Deciding directions to find a way Unsure of a path to take I wait until there is certainty Of where I’m supposed to be I know I’m right When inside of me I feel Peace While on that bumpy rode Of highs and lows Yes and no Take the time Free your mind You will find Peace
