I feel the warmth of God's breath as He leads me each day. There's no better guide to show me the way.

Background Information

As a wife and home schooling mother of five, I understand the many moods of trying to be all that God would have you to be. Writing is my way of  expressing those many emotions and sharing Gods love with others. From childhood I have been writing poetry, songs, speeches and stories of all kinds. The easiest things for me to write are those things which lay closest to my heart. Those things involve special events in my life, the love of family and friends, and most importantly Christ.  Along with my experiences as a wife and homeschooling mother, I've also experienced hardships that help me to connect with a different group of people. I've experienced divorced parents, drug and alcohol abuse, abusive relationships, loss of a child, and other heart aches. All these events help me to better associate with my readers. I know hurt, but I also know joy when Christ intercedes. I can write nothing without the hand of God. He is my biggest inspiration!

Accomplishments

My biggest achievement has been accepting Christ into my life. Before Christ I was following a road that lead to never ending failure and brokenness, but after Christ, 12 years ago, I have direction. "For God is not the author of confusion". I have also just this last year started speaking for womens events and shared my testimony publicly. I consider these more Gods accomplishments than mine.

Additional Information

Here is a speech that I wrote to hopefully share Gods Gift with others. How To Get To Heaven How do I get to heaven? This is a question often asked. People all over the world have different beliefs as to how they will get to heaven. Some believe they will get to heaven through good works, being baptized, believing in just one god, and still others believe there is no heaven at all. These are just a few of the things that people believe. Today though, I am going to share with you the true and only way to get to heaven. I will start off by sharing with you how I know the answer to this question. It is all recorded in a book called the " Holy Bible ". Everything you need to know about getting to heaven is in this book. God himself inspired certain men to write all the scriptures found written within the bible. In 11 Timothy 3:16 we read, "That all scripture is given by inspiration of God". Now that you know where I got my information we will move on. How do I get to heaven? There is only one way to get to heaven, but there are a few steps you must take before hand. The first step is understanding that you are a sinful person. Sin is a word that represents the bad things we do. In Romans 3:23 we read, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". In Romans 3:10 it says, "There is none righteous, no not one ". Unfortunately everyone on earth is sinful. The second step to heaven is understanding the consequence of your sin. In the first part of Romans 6:23 we read, "For the wages of sin is death". The consequence of sin is death and since everyone is sinful we were to all pay that price. Thankfully, there is hope and with this hope comes our third step to heaven. This is the step in which we believe. In John 3:16 we read, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life ". Who’s this son you ask? He is the hope that I spoke of earlier. In the last part of Romans 6:23 it says, "But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord ". Jesus is whom we are to believe. Not just in God, but in his son, Jesus Christ. Many people believe in God yet they do not believe in Gods son. Let me tell you a little more about what makes Jesus so important. God sent Jesus to this earth to live as we live. He spent thirty-three years here feeling our hurts, feeling our joys, and experiencing life as we do. The difference though is that Jesus is sinless. Though tempted sometimes to sin, Jesus never did. God has given us a chance to live through his son, Jesus. In Romans 5:8 we read, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ". Even though we are the sinful ones, and Jesus is not, Jesus paid our price. Jesus came to earth and took all of our sins upon himself and died, so that we might live. In Colossians 1:14 we read, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins ". Jesus death alone was not the completed gift. He not only had to suffer death for us, but he had to do much more. Starting with even going to hell for us. If he was going to pay the price for our sins, he had to pay it all. In Ephesians 4:9 it says, "What is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? ". Jesus even suffered hell for us. Then three days after he was crucified he rose to the earth and came back to life, leaving his tomb empty. Mathew 28:6-7 reads, " He is not here: for he is risen, as he said, come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead ". In John 11:25 it says, " Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live ". Gods plan could not be completed until Jesus was resurrected from the dead. Now Jesus is in heaven with his father preparing homes for those who have and will accept Gods perfect gift. In John 14:2 we read, " In my fathers house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you ". The third step to heaven is believing that Jesus died to pay your price and set you free from sin. Romans 6:22 says, "But now being made free from sin, and becoming servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness and the end everlasting life ". Jesus is the only way to get to heaven. John 14:6 says, " Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man cometh unto the father, but by me ". You must believe in your heart that Jesus is the true and only way to heaven. Once you’ve taken the first three steps it’s time for the final step, confession. You must confess to God that you are a sinner, that you believe Jesus died for your sins, and that you want Jesus to come into your heart and save you from death. Romans 10:9-10 says," That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation ". Romans 10:13 reads," For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved ". Call upon God, believe in your heart, and you shall see heaven. Once you’ve asked Jesus into your heart your name will be written down in a book called "The Book of Life ". In revelation 3:5 we read," He that overcometh the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot his name out of The Book of Life, but I will confess his name before my father, and before his angels ". If your name is not found in this book then you will not be able to enter through the gates of heaven. Revelation 20:15 says," And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire ". Is your name written in this book? Have you accepted Gods gift to you? God is waiting if not. 11 Peter 3:9 says," He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance ". God doesn’t want to see any of us cast into that lake of fire. But your time is running short. 11 Peter 3:10 says," But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; In the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are there in shall be burned up ". This present world will soon be gone, but your spirit will continue to live on. You need to choose whether you want to live on in heaven or in hell. There are only two choices, accept Gods gift of salvation or reject Gods gift of salvation. Remember the four steps to heaven: Understanding that everyone is sinful, understanding that the consequence of sin is death and eternity in hell, believing that Gods son, Jesus Christ came to save you, and confessing to the Lord your sin and asking for his gift of salvation. John 10:27-28 says," My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand ". Once you belong to God you will forever belong to God and no one can steal away your salvation. Now you know how to get to heaven. The gift of God is free; the question is whether or not you’ll accept it. Written By: Angela Ciero Sept. 2009
