I love living an utterly regular life in what I call a spiritually responsible manner. And I love helping other interested humans do the same thing which, conveniently, is my job. I am privileged to be able to live, work, write, and teach in beautiful Idyllwild, CA, though my pursuit of location independence is well underway.
My first book, An Extra Year: Grief and Loss in the New Age is a paradigm-shifting look at the loss experience through a lens of ancient and universally spiritual concepts -- essentially me practicing what I preach on my own self in the wake of my partner's passing. And while I always knew I'd write books some day, this memoir came out of left field to eclipse the other first book I was writing, which takes a look at our political landscape through the same universally spiritual lens. Grief and loss? Politics? It's all the same to me.
One day the stars will align and I will blissfully re-engage full time writing. But right now I'm doing talks, signings, workshops, classes and the like, spreading the good word wherever they'll have me.
