I grew up in a small town and dreamed of becoming a writer one day. Life interferred and it was not until I was retired on a medical issue that I finally got the time to sit down and make my dreams come true..write! My first book sold, but not after several rejections. It's true you have to find the right editor who belives in you. And when it all comes together....magic happens!

My editor inspired me to step it up a notch. She slways pulls out of me something I didn't realize was inside. So my second manuscript went back and forth like a ping pong ball until it was better than I  imagined it could be.

Now I live quietly with my husband, cats, and dogs. This keeps me grounded. How haughty can you become scooping kitty litter?

My literary influences are Anne Rice, Charles Dickens, and Erma Bombeck. Growing up reading these writers changed something profound in me.
