Background Information

As a journalist, I gravitate naturally to Russian history and culture. I wrote The 33 Worst Mistakes Writers Make About Russia, a reference book for those writers who want to get their Russian settings, characters and their names right. I'm currently working on a suspense novel set in 1930s USSR.
