It started when I read Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and progressed to Stephen King, Dean Koontz, L.A. Banks and Tananrive Due. I love fiction and the many places one can go by turning the page.
I've been writing since elementary school. I have been a horror addict most my elementary to high school years and progressed to science fiction, fantasy and urban fantasy during my college years. I love a good book and writing seems to be the best place to reign in my over active imagination. I wrote for my high school literary magazine, won a journalism internship at the University of Miami and several service grants during college.
I self-published my first novel, "Imminent Darkness" in January 2010 which received a four star review on Amazon.com. I am active in the writing community. I am a member of the National Writer's Union and the Chicago Writers Association.
It is my belief that a writer is the vessel through which a story is born and I am full of stories. My motivation is to get these stories on a page with the hopes that these stories will find readers who enjoy them. I write what I love: horror, occult fiction, urban fantasy, science fiction and poetry.
