I am from Tampa where I attended the University of South Florida. My career path has spanned from physical to fiscal starting in nutrition and ending up in the stock market. In 1992 I got married. In 1995 I had a child and in 1999, fear of earthquakes in California forced me back to Florida. My short stories have been published in literary magazines as well as the anthology “Wisdom of Our Mothers”. My first book “Who Got Liz Gardner” was published April 2009 and is currently available at most online booksellers all around the world. "Discovering Arugula"Book Two in the Who Got Liz Gardner series was released January 2011. Liz is a contributing writer for Brite Magazine http://www.britegirl.com/ . In April 2012, "who Got Liz Gardner" was recommended by and received a glowing review in USA Today.
As the adult child of a psychiatrist and as an aspiring actress who only realized local success in community theatre, I suppose it's only natural that there's a flare for the dramatic in my dna. I have always loved to read and have a particular attraction to first person narratives which is what I write currently. I also adore film, both classic and contemporary so when I write, I envision the story on screen and strive to color my words boldly enough that any reader sees it there too!
