I'm a children's book author, an editor and writing teacher. This information made my high school English teacher faint. When I was a kid, I couldn't read, but I worked hard and now I'm an author. Miracles happen.

Background Information

Born the 8th child in a two room house, raised on a farm, the daughter of a sharecropper, I learned to make something out of nothing.  Time becomes daydreams and daydreams become stories.  I never dreamed of being a writer, but now I find writing brings opportunity to share things I value.  Hope, forgiveness, love...these are gifts my characters bring to the reader, in doing so they are re-enforced within me.
