Author honed by experience and life writing his experiences that have spanned 80 years through some of our most difficult times.

Background Information

My life's story begins on the 17th March 1928. From that day at 8.30am New Zealand time, I've lived through a world of immense change. I have survived through a world of extreme turmoil, huge never imagined advance in technology from the advances in space exploration to terrifying nuclear fission discoveries and the massive destruction and death on a never believed scale already executed.

A life of flying, merchant shipping and United Nations Peacekeeping activities throughout the Middle East and Asia filled a life of adventure, risk and reward seldom heard of these days.

My book "Puberty at Eighty" tells the story from the years 1928 to 2009 of a world which will amaze future generations and leave a record for their education and awareness of the things we have been through over these years.

My desire in writing this massive photography filled book was for the purpose of recording our world as we of my age have lived and survived.
