My name is Rosemary Everson DBA Rosemary Hovey Everson. I didn't realize that God had given me a talent in becoming a writer until one day, in 2004, I put a pen in my hand and started writing. I have been writing since and love it.
I was born in a small town in Wisconsin. I was the only sibling in my family who was born at Mondovi's Gillette Hospital. After my mother gave birth to me, she had complications so my dad's sister, Johanna, and niece, Betty, took care of me until my mom recuperated. I grew up not wealthy but loved. Sometimes I often wondered why Dad would find a place in the 'boon docks' to live, but he had to be near his place of work.
Since I was the last of six children; it became apparant that I had more trinkets growing up than my three brothers and two sisters. Although, the thought of having more than them, my oldest brothers still called me their 'baby sister' from the day I was born until the day they were laid to rest.
I attended several public schools when I was growing up but three teachers will always remain in my mind. I was taught how to read, write, and maintain study habits in a country school; when I entered sixth grade at Whitehall, I experienced a teacher who taught me never to cheat. When I graduated from high school, I knew that cheating and lies did not make a person. But being honest and having belief in God did.
God has blessed me with a husband, three children, their spouses, and grandchildren. No matter how trying life is, God is still with me today and always will be.
