Five Favorite Books
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte – The characters are so twisted and reach far beyond the general goodness usually applied to the main attractions in literature or film in that era.
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens – Pip’s adventures lead you through such an amazing journey on the strange path of life.
Cry to Heaven by Anne Rice – Mrs. Rice, as always, writes in such a captivating way that I couldn’t put the book down even if I wanted to.
Insomnia by Stephen King – I can’t tell you how often I have read this book. It is spellbinding with the twists and turns of the plot.
Dracula by Bram Stoker – Who doesn’t love the old fashion story of a beauty and a beast?
Five Favorite Films
Gone with the Wind – Tragic love stories are always fun.
Sabrina – Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart shine in this movie like two stars on the opposite end of the same spectrum.
Gentleman Prefer Blondes – Two words say it all, Marilyn Monroe.
Witches of Eastwick – This movie is a favorite of mine at the end of a long day. No matter what transpires it always makes me laugh.
Interview with a Vampire – Brad Pit and Tom Cruise as sexy vampires. How can you not love it?
