Ex-cop, ex-soldier, and all American boy turned mystery writer.

Background Information

I worked for a large and busy police department for 20 years. My experience with incidents and people gives me wealth of memories to tap and turn into fiction.

Several of my favorite authors convinced me writing is an art form and creative outlet. It keeps me from playing in the traffic. Mom would be pleased.

A NEW PROSPECT, my first full-length novel was named best mystery at the 2011 Indie Book Awards by the Independent Publishing Professional's Group.

Additional Information

Eight of my Sam Jenkins crime novelettes are either published or under contract. A short story and 26 non-fiction articles have appeared in magazines.
