I am not a religious person. I do believe in a higher power which is held by the Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and, Holy Spirit. My motto is, live, love, laugh and play hard. My mission statement is; Each One Reach One. I believe, if you feed your faith, that you can starve doubt to death. Freedom is a choice…

Background Information

 Regina Sanford
Born in Winston Salem North Carolina in 1960

Starting a clothes closet to help battered women clothe their children in July 1996, finding a great passion for the women with abusive mates, decided to work with local churches and organizations within the community, because many held a 501 (c ) (3 ) certification and credentials, which allowed them to reach out to the community.

Having to rely on other organizations in order to help the women, in 1998 Regina decided to go back to school, completing the courses needed to obtain her Bachelors and Masters Degree in religion from ULC.

In 2004 now holding her credentials, decided to apply for the 501 (c) (3) certifications and pursued the IRS until being granted the certification successfully in June of 2011,

Which allowed the mission started in 1996, to hold the title Refuge1; now able to help women train for their GEDs or offer counseling, teaching programs that offer life skills, to the women and their children and with resources kept along the journey, often help many women to escape the abusive mate and find help that is needed to live a long and prosperous life.

Also, writing and publishing her first book in 2009, is now a published author as well, with five books published and two in the making.
