To be honest, I was never a great reader of books as compared to my wife Jeanne, who could fill a few library shelves from what she has read. I am a banker, and for the past 48 years this is what I do. I read on a daily basis the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, American Banker and numerous banking trade magazines that are related to my vocation.
My career encompasses public and private leadership roles that included past chairman of the New Jersey Bankers Association, past president of the Community Bankers Association of New Jersey, past vice-chairman of the New Jersey Healthcare Facilities Finance Authority. I have held several banking positions throughout the state as President and Chief Executive Officer. I reside in Toms River, New Jersey with my wife of 45 years.
My first novel, "Traces of Greed", has been a work of passion for the past 18 years. I never thought I would see my work published, but now I know it's a reality. I hope all who enjoy my work will write me and let me know your thoughts.
Actually, I started writing years ago when I had tremendous pressures on me, and needed an outlet. Something different than what I experience on a daily basis. As most authors know, starting that first page is not easy. Once I began I could not stop, and I believe this outlet helped me deal with those pressures I was under.
I am now on my second book and hope to have it published next summer.
