International performing poet, published writer and producer, my best production to fame are my two beautiful children, Rahsaan and Empress.

Background Information

I am a vegetarian, herbalist, an advocate for world peace, children's rights, and the dignity of the poor.

My passion is writing. My focus is on health and my mission is to encourage positive, creative and productive growth of our children. I started writing poetry at nine years old. I would write for every family occasion and for any given reason. At an early age, I realized my talents and while attending Kansas State University, I decided that one day I would write books good enough to be studied in schools.

My primary education was in Jamaica and in pursuit of higher education attended colleges in the United States - Evangel University, Kansas State University, Columbia University in New York, and Columbia School of Broadcasting for Radio and Television in Los Angeles.

I am proud of the release of “Let It Flo’”, my book of poems, reasonings and ‘tings, published by PublishAmerica in April 2010. Over the years I have organized and produced several community projects, including radio and television shows, children plays, Ital Healthy Baby seminars and workshops, arts and crafts workshops, African dance classes, fashion shows and Reggae peace concerts in southern California, Jamaica and South Africa. My children are the love of my life. I love traveling, and after several journeys home to Africa, I believe the knowledge gained in Africa is essential for the survival of the African people worldwide.

I enjoy writing and regard myself as a humanitarian and an historian in the making. I believe, at the end of the day, the most important thing is to live and praise JAH (God).
