I've been dabbling at writing since I was 10 years old. Life, as it is wont to do, got in the way for many years but I began to take it seriously again a decade or two ago. My first novel took me 15 years to realize it would, and should, never see the light of day. It was my learning novel, that which I cut my writer's teeth on. My second novel, Stealing The Marbles, was just published by Rebel e Publishers. I'm nearly finished with my third.
As for my influences, I would have to say writers like Kurt Vonnegut, Elmore Leanord, James Lee Burke, Richard Brautigan, Issac Asimov, Authur C. Clark and Willaim Gibson would be high on the list. As to those who have helped me hone my craft over the years, the most significant would be James N. Frey, Cindy Ford and, most recently, my editor for Stealing The Marbles, Jayne Southern.
