author patricia leudeman chiappa grew up in the levely suburbs of long island, new york. her ondest hildhood memory ws taking long drives on a scenic back country road with her grandparents, parents and her brorhter brian. christmas spent around her grandmnothers dining room table sharing old polish traditions and hr grandparents presenting a birthday cake to jesus while her brother and her sef sang hapy birthday. during her school years patricia was torumented by bullies and had to overcome a severe learning disability dslexia. patricia could not read orwrite until she was fourteen. with the encouragement of her english teacher, parents and grandparents patti found her passion for writing and overcame her dyslexia. her trong faith to god helped her to overcome many battles in her life including losisng forteen family members to cancer, living in a drug infested neghborhood, and losing four babies to miscarriage. her first book saras journey published in august 2010 by tate publshingcelebrates overcoming tragedy, lifts the human spirit, ambraces the special bond between friends, and encourages the reader to look deep within themselves to see themselves through gods eyes.
