Ross Dix-Peek was born in Salisbury, Rhodesia (now Harare, Zimbabwe), in July 1970 and subsequently grew up and was educated in South Africa, matriculating at the Hill College in Port Elizabeth. My poetry is a synthesis of my perceptions of the world and my love of words, and I draw my inspiration from my loved ones', my late father, Errol, my late sister, Meryl, my wonderful wife wife, Deanna, my beloved mother, Felicity, and my siblings, brother, Harland, and sister, Shelly, My writing can be a bit serious or dark at times, but it is always straight from the heart.
