Bolivian author that has written more than 42 books, mostly in Spanish, about personal growth, ecology and chamanism.


Background Information

Chamalu is a Bolivian writer, ecologist and with an indian origin. Founder of the “Pachamama Universal" ecological movement in 1982, and other ecological groups in Bolivia. He has written more than 42 books, mostly in Spanish. One of the books written by him is WAYRA, which contains letters he was writing to her daughter before and after her bird; he tells to her how the world is and how the modern society has been complicating the way to live.

He is also a Seminar Speaker, travelling to lots of countries in all the continents in the world, telling about his philosophy of simplicity in all the aspects of live.  

Additional Information

Chamalu built an Ecovillage in Cochabamba, Bolivia, where they receive travelers from all over the world willing to see the life from a different perspective, more simple, and interrelated with mother nature (Pachamama).
