Marc Beaudin is the poetry editor of CounterPunch and the author of several books including The Moon Cracks Open: A Field Guide to the Birds and Other Poems and the novel A Handful of Dust. His work has been published in numerous journals including Watershed, Avocet and The MacGuffin. He has been a featured poet at numerous venues across the country, and his poetry has been featured on several public radio stations and podcasts. In addition to writing, Beaudin also directs and designs for the stage. Originally from Michigan, he now lives in the shadow of the Absaroka Mountains near Livingston, Montana.
