Just trying to break the mould by refilling the pipes

Background Information

Currently, my work tends to be very political-allegorical (a la my personal hero George Orwell) with a Lovecraftian bent when necessary. I also maintain a great love of science-fiction, in particular the works of HG Wells, Arthur C Clarke and Robert A Heinlein.

Ideas. When you've got an idea shuttling around at 200 miles a second in your frontal lobes, at some point you've got to let it out. I was never very good at music, I was never an artist, but I've always been able to write.

I live in the suburbs of Nuneaton, only minutes either way from sprawling chaos in the inner districts or from peaceful countryside and farmland. While not genetically native (my parents being from Essex), 17 years  of living here is probably long enough to consider it home.

Birth Place
Nuneaton,  England

Apart from an A* in English Language at GCSE level, combined with an A in English Literature and an A in Religious Studies, not much to go here at the moment.

Currently studying AS level Language, Philosophy and Physics.

Additional Information

Current works: He Is Risen (working title) - Short story in the Lovecraftian style based on a nightmare about a train, with strong allusions to drug-culture and psychological tolerance. Isolation - Short story in the style of traditional Soviet Sci-Fi "Roadside Picnic" by the Stugatsky brothers, inspired by Wikileaks exposures on the brutalities of government covered from public view. Like Ants (Working title) - Largely abandoned project based on a post-nuclear landscape, rotating around the struggles of a British platoon stranded in the Middle East trying to get home. Would be more than happy to co-write with someone with greater knowledge of British military tactics than I.
