Background Information

I have read so many books and to be honest there was always that special touch missing. So, what does someone like me do? I begged my husband endlessly for a laptop and started to write my own story. Once I got going it was goodbye family, world and anything in between and hello dream world, writing and the joys it brought.

My husband now looks back on the good ole’ days when I used to speak a language he understood and not code like Vaalbara, Alchera, and Publishing. It is two years later and I have achieved one of my biggest goals – my book is being published. I have spent many a night dreaming and many a day thinking to bring Vaalbara: Visions & Shadows to life.

I am who I am because of my God, my family and the beautiful nature I find myself surrounded by each and every blessed day. I am stay-at-home mother of a talented boy in the cozy town of Alberton, South Africa and might not have any degrees to boast with, but as a retired Business Banker I could not ask for more than to be able to write everyday.

Accomplishments

Ages ago I had two poems published in competitions held localy - oops did I just give away my age?
Useless info? I have a Certificate in Finance and one in Business Management - Yes, I can count to ten - LOL ;)

Additional Information

I retired at the end of 2009 as a Business Banker from The Standard Bank of South Africa. No, I'm not that old! I am currently working on the sequel to VAALBARA, The Land of Shadows and something totally different, I've never been to me. Thank you for looking at my profile, Michelle ;)
