Life is an adventure. If an activity, event, or pursuit is without risk, then my time has been wasted. The possibility of failure fuels the thrill of the challenge and makes me leave it all on the course.

Background Information

I love my family, and I love the outdoors. Engaging with them in the pursuit of an activity, surrounded by nature, is a phenomenal experience. I also love to probe the lives of people, to encourage them and to learn from them. I have a great opportunity to do this at our bed and breakfast, Seven Sisters Bed and Breakfast at McEwen Falls. The people we meet are extraordinary, and my wife and I get to pamper them and to provide them with a relaxing getaway. My writing reflects the lessons learned from interactions with my family and the interesting people I have met.
