Thomas (“Tommy”) Briggs made his first sale at the age of 14, working during the summer at his father's restaurant supply business. After high school he became a full-time sales associate, moving into outside sales and then into sales management, where he managed sales representatives producing multi-million dollar volumes.
In 1989, Briggs first met Ron Borchelt, then President of Security & Surveillance, who hired Tommy as a sales representative. Tommy moved into sales management, helping to lead one of the most successful privately owned direct sales companies in the United States. It was Borchelt who first introduced Briggs to “the principles of self-improvement,” prompting Briggs to embark upon a life-long habit of listening to audio tapes and reading books by the best authorities in the fields of success, attitude and sales.
Since 1989, Tommy Briggs has invested, by reading or listening, over five thousand hours in these fields, reading books and listening to audiotapes by the world’s leading authors in these fields.
Says the author: "I soon discovered that all of the contemporary success ideas being written about I had already encountered in the Bible. I decided to write a series of Christian books on my discoveries, in an attempt to get the word out about the true source of success—personally and professionally. The life and teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ will always be acknowledged as the true source for these ideas. He left these principles for us all to have and use—I believe for our maximum achievement and success, personally and professionally.”
