John has been writing short plays and musicals for children for over 30 years. His experience as a teacher of studenst in senior primary school for twenty years and then as a primary school principal for a further twenty years has shown John the need for well written stories that will engage the interests of 10-12 year olds. John is particularly keen to encourage boys of this age group to engage in reading. His stories are readable and of a length that will not discourage the reluctant reader.
The series of DJ Benson Adventures follows the exploits of Daniel James Benson, a young boy on the verge of entering high school who, through a series of intriguing adventures, discovers much about the world, the motivations of other people and, most importantly, himself.
