Busy mother of four, reader, business owner, and newly published author.

Background Information

As a child I never was interested in writing but found that over the years it held more and more appeal. It was the one subject in school in which I did very well. As with a lot of people my life started running me and I strayed from the writing and moved into a career that would pay me immediately.

When I found out I was pregnant with my fourth child I couldn't find a book I felt suitable for my 11 month old daughter to explain the up coming changes. So I decided that there was no better time to write than the present and my first children's book, Bia Gets a New Baby Brother began. It took almost 7 years but I finally was able to get it published and am now diligently working to market the book.

I enjoy reading to schools and daycares and hope to get my next book, a children's chapter book published very soon.

I personally love to read almost anything but Sci-Fi is my favorite. As for my writing I am influence by what I read as a child, Beverly Clearly, Eric Carle, Shel Silverstein, and many more.

My goal and hope is that my books will someday touch children the way that the authors I read as a child touched and influenced me.

Additional Information

My first release is Bia Gets a New Baby Brother. I am currently revising and editing my second book, a children's chapter book still untitled. Recently I have been doing many readings at schools in my area and day cares.
