I write about magical lives. I wrote my master's thesis on an alternative religion (Asatru). This is a master's thesis titled, "Voices of Modern American Asatru Women". This book is an ethnographic study concerning the beliefs and practices of the reconstructionist, heathen, religion, based upon Norse/Germanic Mythology and History, through the voices of it's modern American female practitioners.

I have always been a witch. As soon as I was old enough to philosophical depart from my Christian family, I settled into my life as such, and could finally breath.
I have practiced witchcraft all my life, believed in the Norse Gods as my religion, and maintained my social and spiritual position, as a goddess worshiper.
I have a BA in History, and an MA in History and Cultural Studies. I love history and mythology, art, genealogy, and magic.
From this background and the influences of such writers as Ann Rice, Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, Dion Fortune, Ray Buckland, Z. Budapest, Patricia Monaghan, Lisa S. Bryant, D.J. Conway, Freya Aswyn, Mary Stewart . . . the list is endless.
These and others are the inspiration for my alternative religion research and experiencial writings. They are also the influence for my book, "The Witch of Pittenweem", which deals with magical living and the age old conflict between the followers of the god of the Jews and the modern and post modern objection to witches and witches ways.

My latest project is a teaching book about magic. It is called "Fascination: My Own Words on Magic". I made up that title, because it is my own words, both used magically and because I have borrowed from no one. It's a book of my experiences in magic, my own uses, spells, works, memories, plans and how I do magic. If anyone would like to know the reality of my magical life . . . there it is.

The Witch of Pittenweem
The Witch of Pittenweem is a story of family spirit, magic, and philosophical clash within the Family Vainamoinen.
They are witches of significant power and yet have very human passions.
They pass their magical lineage down through spells and a covenant with the Scottish goddess, Nicnevin.
They at times test their limits when they fight, and cast, destroy, and create, in their mission to keep their magical line ensconced.
