There is a mind in the crack, a word in the wind.

Background Information

Once in college, I was having a poetic dilemma.  I was stuck on and tired of writing rhyming poems.  I was over the "roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet and bla bla bla." There was this belief that I had to rhyme.  I told my roomate about this and as if she gave me permission I could not give myself, she said I didn't have to rhyme.  And as simple as that, I quit rhyming.....on purpose.  Sometimes I rhyme by accident.

I usually sit and start writing or type one up on Word.  Free flowing.  Whatever comes to mind.  I've been writing for 15+ years and hope you can appreciate words the way I do.  It's all I can do short of drawing what I want to say and gosh I have no talent there!

Accomplishments

Greatly enjoy sharing my writing at poetry readings. To give actual voice to the words in print is indescribable. Have poems published in college lit magazine in which I wrote horoscopes for.
