I'm 82 years old, and still writing, I have had many novels published and my short stories have appeared on the internet and in hard copy. Several of my plays have had Off Off Broadway productions, and have been produced in regional theatres,
As for major influences - - too many to cite.
In additionto being an author, I have also been, a sailor, soldier, and college professor.
I paint and sketch when I'm in the mood. Classical music is my thing, especially chamber music.
My wife and I live in Manhattan.
I have two sons and four grandchildren. Both my sons live out of the country: one in Canada, the other in Japan.
I still teach a course in philosophy.
