Amelia Atwater-Rhodes inspired me to write my first full-length novel, which I finished when I was 19. I've been writing for as long as I can remember, but that was the first time I completed a full-length book.
I just released my second book, Blood and Guitars, and I'm currently writing its sequel. I enjoy reading all types of fantasy, but I really enjoy historical fiction and paranormal. I stick to reading most YA because that's the genre I write in. I'm currently reading the third Skulduggery Pleasant book.
I'm a big fan of authors such as Richelle Mead, PC and Kristin Cast, LJ Smith, Ellen Schrieber, Will Shetterly, Chris Paolini, Stephenie Meyer, Brandon Mull, Obert Skye, JK Rowling and many more.
I grew up in a small town and found that writing fantasy was a wonderful escape from the mundane. My first book was inspired by a trip to Europe where I visited old castles and historical sites.
I began writing Blood and Guitars while still in high school, but it wasn't until almost ten years later that I revised and completed it.
