A technical sales, marketing and product executive in electronics, Mr. Distler recently began writing for himself rather than his employers.

Background Information

Mr. Distler is the author of numerous articles for national and international trade journals and has self-published several family history books. As a genealogist, he was featured in the Time Magazine article "Roots Mania" in 1999 which recalled a journey of discovery that resulted in a long-overdue family reunion in a small German village 152 years after family ties had been lost.

In 2008, Mr. Distler wrote the novella, Anarchy in the Heartland - The Reno Gang Saga. This was the true story of the world's first train robbers, The Reno Gang of Indiana. His latest horror fiction novel is The Lost Souls of Bell Valley, A paranormal thriller, spanning four generations and four families in a classic battle of good versus evil.
