Recently, Ron D. Voigts pulled his two Mysteries from his agent with an eye on self-publishing. Hisdebut novel THE BIRTHDAY CURSE is available in ebook and paperback at Barnes and Noble and places he never heard of before. His next book THE GHOST’STREASURE is targeted for release in the fall. He does most of his writing in the dead of night and on weekends. When not writing, he enjoys doing puzzles, collecting autographed books and working on his culinary skills.
His taste in books varies as long as the book grabs him in the first sentence. It's all about the voice of the narator. A little mystery is nice and don't forget suspense. Some authors that have influenced him are Lemony Snicket, Stephen King, H.G. Wells, James Lee Burke and Wally Lamb.
