The middle child of three I was born and raised in the rural town of Clinton, Iowa  where I still reside with my husband and our two children. I think I've always been a writer at heart for as far back as I can remember I always had a story to tell, but being a country girl growing up in the boonies of Iowa I rarely had an audience to share it with. In my younger years I was an avid reader, devouring every book I could get my hands on. As I grew I often found myself rewriting a scene in a book or the ending itself until finally I began writing stories of my own. Through the years my writing has evolved to include poetry and song writing, but I never stray too far from my storytelling roots!

I'm an active participant in my church, First Baptist Church of Clinton, Iowa, enjoy reading genres from romance to murder mysteries and spending time with my children, family and friends.
