Background Information

Respected businessman Gerry de Klerk mingled with cabinet minsters, presidents and members of the Dutch Royal Family. Until Dutch police branded him a master swindler. He could have proven his innocense quickly, but police and prosecutors would not listen. They had their own agenda. After a brutal arrest, ten days in California's Alameda County Jail, seven months behind bars in Amsterdam and eight years under investigation, de Klerk has finally won.

He has been completely exonerated, and now he fights back not only with a record damage claim -some of which has already been awarded and paid by the Dutch government- but also with something that police, the justice department and some top business people will find even worse -this book, whiuch exposes it all while naming real names, places and circumstances.

Received the Businessman of the Year Award in 1993 for the betterment of business relations between the Netherlands and Canada. The Award is granted by an independent panel and the Dutch/Canadian/American Chamber of Connerce and the Canadian Ambassador to the Hague.

Currently a feature film by the same name as the book is in pre production. Just finished a feature film by the name of Part Of The Game.
