I am just an ordinary girl who likes to occasionally put pen to paper and write poems and songs. I write things down as they pop into my head rather than sit down with a pen and wait for an idea. Usually the whole poem or song flows out but I do make alterations sometimes afterward. I am influenced by my circumstances, by what I see or hear. I play guitar for my own pleasure and was once a member in a church band. It was during those years I penned many of my songs because they are mostly Christian in nature. I have been writing poetry of sorts for many years. I write everything down whether good or bad because I can either discard or modify them later if I wish. My educational achievements are really few, three GCE level qualifications at school and a full City and Guilds certificate in electrical engineering. Yes you read it right!

I once had a poem accepted for inclusion in a collection of works by various writers but I didn't submit further work. I write for pleasure.
